The building was built in 1912, and has recently gone through a total renovation.

The Vineyard II is named after The Vineyard Estates, once own by B.L. Vineyard, a pioneer in rice farming and banking in Eagle Lake. Shortened to "The Vineyard," it is known in the region for its excellent rice farming operation and waterfowl hunting.
The Vineyard II honors Eagle Lake's agriculture, bird watching, and waterfowl hunting history with the finest Texas wines and craft beers. Known as the "Goose Hunting Capital of the World," Eagle Lake has a rich history as the premier waterfowl hunting destination in Texas.
Located on the historic town square, stop by and enjoy a cold one, shop in our gift shop, try our excellent wines and beers, and have a good time.
Every Thursday is Thirsty Thursday with Happy Hour all Day. Friday, patrons of the can order from a gourmet food truck, then enjoy their meal at a table inside, while sipping on their favorite Texas wine or craft beer. Saturday's have a mix of events and live music. (21 and up only please)
